In about an hour I will be on a van headed for Atlanta. I feel so blessed to get to make another trip so soon. I can't wait to see Odette again. She sounded really happy the other night when I talked to her & I can't wait to kiss her face! Their new English they learned last week was "How is your family?" so we all got asked that question by the girls which made us laugh. I can't wait to see what else they have learned.
Please pray for Andy & the girls and that everyone will stay healthy this week. They are looking forward to their first week of summer. Also pray for our safety and for good weather while we are there (it's raining there now & there is a 60% chance of rain everyday). I'll be traveling back on Thursday & will be back early Friday morning so Andy can leave that night for Haiti to lead our youth trip down. We are so excited to be with Odette for 2 weeks between the two of us.

One Year Ago Today
*I got on a plane in Fort Lauderdale headed for Port-au-Prince, Haiti
*We pulled up in a mini-bus and were greeted by 18 faces that I had waited months to meet
*I met a little girl named Odette
*Kevin met a little girl named Benita
*I learned what serving and being served really looks like
*I saw God in a completely different way
*My life as I knew it was changed forever

Yesterday
Yesterday we received our I-171H form in the mail. After you have sent in your I-600A form to Memphis it meets up with your fingerprints & homestudy. When you are approved, you receive the I-171H from USCIS signifying you have been pre-approved to adopt. So we are one step closer to bringing our little girl home.
